About Us
The Chicago-West Suburban CPCU Society Chapter, Inc. is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who promote excellence through ethical behavior and continuing education.
The CPCU Society is committed to providing resources, educational programs and Chicago-West Suburban CPCU Society Chapter, Inc. leadership opportunities that attract talent and enable individuals to expand their technical insurance skills and business capabilities in order to improve the overall performance of the insurance industry while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
The Chicago-West Suburban CPCU Society Chapter, Inc. has approximately 200 members that hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation, which is conferred by The Institutes and requires passing rigorous undergraduate- and graduate-level exams, meeting an experience requirement, and agreeing to be bound by a strict code of professional ethics.
Priority: Education
Our Chapter hosts monthly lunch meetings on topics important to the industry. We also partner with local high schools to get young adults thinking about careers in insurance.
Priority: Networking
The foundation of our industry involves building and maintaining relationships. Our Chapter organizes periodic social events where members and guests can meet up with old friends and make new connections.
Priority: Good Works
Our Chapter supports Chicago and west suburban charities through financial contributions and volunteering. In 2018, our volunteer efforts are aimed at Feed My Starving Children and Junior Achievement.
